engine-dmo affiliates: Affiliate networks, conversion imports and postback secrets. Every subcommand, argument and flag.
engine-dmo
Affiliate networks, conversion imports and postback secrets.
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
engine-dmo affiliates connect | Store a network’s reporting API secret for a site, read from an environment variable or standard input |
engine-dmo affiliates import | Import a network’s transaction export (CSV) as conversions, matched to their clicks |
engine-dmo affiliates networks | Every network, the settings a site’s account and a programme need, and the export columns it reads |
engine-dmo affiliates postback-key | Make a site’s postback secret for a network, replacing any it had, and print it once |
engine-dmo affiliates sync | Read the connected networks’ conversions now, as the scheduler does |
engine-dmo affiliates connect
Connects the site to the network’s reporting API: Awin’s token, Impact’s auth token (with the Account SID set on the Networks screen), or Tiqets’ token. The secret is sealed with the install’s key and never printed. It is read from --secret-env, or from standard input, never from an argument, so it stays out of the shell’s history.
engine-dmo affiliates connect [flags] | Flag | Type | Default | Meaning |
|---|---|---|---|
--network | string | the network: awin, impact, tiqets | |
--secret-env | string | the environment variable holding the secret; standard input when not given | |
--site | string | the site; the default site when not given |
--json prints the command’s own JSON document. Runs in a project.
engine-dmo affiliates import
Reads the export through the network’s column mapping (engine-dmo affiliates networks lists it). A transaction imported before is updated in place, so importing an export again, or a later one that moves pending to approved, never counts a conversion twice. --column names a column by hand: --column id=“Order Ref” --column occurred_at=Created. A date that is not ISO 8601 needs --date-layout, in Go’s reference layout: 02/01/2006 for day first.
engine-dmo affiliates import [flags] | Flag | Type | Default | Meaning |
|---|---|---|---|
--column | string, repeatable | field=column, naming a column by hand (repeatable) | |
--date-layout | string | a Go time layout for the dates, when they are not ISO 8601 | |
--dry-run | bool | read the export and report what it holds, writing nothing | |
--file | string | the export, as CSV | |
--network | string | the network the export is from: awin, booking, cj, direct, getyourguide, impact, partnerize, tiqets, tracked, viator | |
--programme | string | the programme id a conversion with no known click is credited to | |
--site | string | the site the conversions are for; the default site when not given |
--json prints the command’s own JSON document. Runs in a project.
engine-dmo affiliates networks
Every network, the settings a site’s account and a programme need, and the export columns it reads.
engine-dmo affiliates networks --json prints the command’s own JSON document. Needs no project.
engine-dmo affiliates postback-key
Turns on the signed postback for the site and network. The secret is printed once and stored sealed; give it to whoever signs the postbacks. Running this again replaces it, which is how a leaked secret is rotated.
engine-dmo affiliates postback-key [flags] | Flag | Type | Default | Meaning |
|---|---|---|---|
--network | string | the network: awin, booking, cj, direct, getyourguide, impact, partnerize, tiqets, tracked, viator | |
--site | string | the site; the default site when not given |
--json prints the command’s own JSON document. Runs in a project.
engine-dmo affiliates sync
Read the connected networks’ conversions now, as the scheduler does.
engine-dmo affiliates sync [flags] | Flag | Type | Default | Meaning |
|---|---|---|---|
--days | int | 45 | how many days back to read |
--network | string | only this network | |
--site | string | only this site |
--json prints the command’s own JSON document. Runs in a project.
