| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
engine-dmo locale add | Queue a run that seeds a new locale with drafts of the chosen types, and a translation job that owns them |

engine-dmo locale list | Codes, source, groups, fallback and coverage |

engine-dmo locale remove | Report what removing a locale takes off the sites, and write the redirects to its fallback |

engine-dmo locale add
Queues a locale.add run: the documents enabled on every site that enables the locale are seeded in batches from --seed, resumable from where a batch stopped, and a translation job is made for the documents. --dry-run counts by type and writes nothing; --wait works the batches in this process and reports progress.
engine-dmo locale add <code> [flags] | Argument | Required | Repeatable |
|---|---|---|
code | yes | no |
| Flag | Type | Default | Meaning |
|---|---|---|---|
--assign | string | group to queue the job for (default: the locale’s translators group) | |
--dry-run | bool | count by type without writing | |
--job | string | name of the translation job to create | |
--no-job | bool | seed without creating a translation job | |
--seed | string | source locale (default: the source) | |
--strategy | string | draft | absent | draft |
--types | string | comma separated type keys (default: every type) | |
--wait | bool | work the batches in this process and report progress |
--json prints the text output in the JSON envelope. Runs in a project.

engine-dmo locale rebuild-state
Recompute translation_field_state for every document.
engine-dmo locale rebuild-state --json prints the text output in the JSON envelope. Runs in a project.
engine-dmo locale remove
Lists every live path the locale answers with the fallback path that serves the same document, and the paths with no fallback, which will 404. --apply-redirects writes a permanent redirect for each path with a fallback; it takes effect when the locale leaves config/ and engine-dmo schema apply runs. Content is never deleted: the locale’s rows are kept, so enabling it again recovers everything.
