schema

engine-dmo schema: Plan and apply configuration against the database. Every subcommand, argument and flag.

Plan and apply configuration against the database.

CommandWhat it does
engine-dmo schema adopt-idsGive a database made before ids the ids the files carry: write missing ids, then bind
engine-dmo schema alias listEvery live alias: the old handle, the field it names, and where it is declared
engine-dmo schema alias retireRemove an alias from its field; refused while a template still uses it
engine-dmo schema applyApply the plan in one transaction. Refuses destructive changes unless approved
engine-dmo schema planRead-only diff between config/ and the database. Exit 2 if changes are pending

engine-dmo schema adopt-ids

adopt-ids writes an id for every element of the files that has none, as engine-dmo check --fix does, then applies a plan that may hold only binds: each row and stored definition made before ids takes the id its file gives it, and nothing else changes. A plan holding any other change is refused; apply it with engine-dmo schema apply first.

engine-dmo schema adopt-ids

--json prints the text output in the JSON envelope. Runs in a project.
