config
engine-dmo config: Configuration tools. Every subcommand, argument and flag.
Configuration tools.
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
engine-dmo config render | Print the fully resolved config, secrets redacted |
engine-dmo config schema | JSON Schema (draft 2020-12) of each configuration file, generated from the structs the loaders decode |
engine-dmo config validate | Validate config only, no database |
engine-dmo config render
Print the fully resolved config, secrets redacted.
config render and config validate load the whole configuration, so every ${VAR} without a default must be set, secrets included, even though neither connects to the database. See Commands and the environment.
engine-dmo config render --json prints the command’s own JSON document. Runs in a project.
engine-dmo config schema
JSON Schema (draft 2020-12) of each configuration file, generated from the structs the loaders decode.
engine-dmo config schema [flags] | Flag | Type | Default | Meaning |
|---|---|---|---|
--anywhere | bool | with --write, match config directories anywhere under the root (**/config/…), for a repository of several projects | |
--editors | strings | with --write, merge the file-pattern mappings into these editors’ project settings: zed, vscode | |
--file | string | one kind of file: its kind (engine, site, routes, schema and the rest), or a real path such as config/sites/town/site.yaml. A bare file name is refused: --file site.yaml exits 3, --file site works | |
--write | string | write every kind’s schema as <dir>/<kind>.json, for editors (default for a project:.meridian/schema) |
--json prints the command’s own JSON document. Needs no project.
engine-dmo config validate
Validate config only, no database.
engine-dmo config validate --json prints the text output in the JSON envelope. Runs in a project.
